Then make your way up America’s highest paved road on 14,260’ Mt. Evans. From the top of the world, you’ll share the views with Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep and other brave travelers! Then it’s on to the breathtaking, high-altitude Trail Ridge Road. This is a ride everyone talks about: climbing from 8000’ to 12,000’ in elevation, you’ll pass through dense forest and emerge above treeline, stopping at pullouts to enjoy the rugged mountain scenery.
